Question 1

What is Calmendar?

Accepted Answer

Calmendar is a voice-first task manager for iPhone and Android. Speak naturally and it turns what you say into organized tasks, appointments, notes and reminders in one place.

Question 2

Do I need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Calmendar works fully without an account or sign-in — your data is stored primarily on your own device.

Question 3

Is Calmendar available on Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Calmendar is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.

Question 4

What languages does it support?

Accepted Answer

The app interface is available in 12 languages.

Question 5

Is Calmendar free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free plan includes 20 tasks, reminders, voice recording, subtasks, restoring a backup and two reminder tones, plus 1 minute of AI voice processing a month. Elan quick captures are open to everyone during the first 10 minutes only. Plus removes the task limit and adds the home screen widget, creating backups and every tone. Elite includes everything in Plus plus unlimited AI features, with a 14-day free trial.

Question 6

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

On iPhone, subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID — go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Calmendar. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select Calmendar.

Question 7

Is the AI feature required?

Accepted Answer

No. AI is optional and can be turned off entirely in Settings — Calmendar works fully as a manual task manager without it.

Question 8

What does Calmendar send to AI when I use it?

Accepted Answer

Only the text needed to process your request — such as a transcript, a note, or a task's title. Your audio recordings, your full contacts list and your full calendar are never sent.

Question 9

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Your tasks, notes and recordings are stored primarily on your device. If you turn on backup, a copy is saved to your own iCloud or Google Drive account, not to a Calmendar server.

Question 10

Can I back up my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, backup is optional and available on Plus and Elite. You choose your own iCloud or Google Drive — Calmendar does not host a copy anywhere else.

Question 11

Can I import my calendar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Calmendar can import upcoming appointments from your device calendar. This is read-only — nothing is written back to your calendar.

Question 12

Does Calmendar sync across multiple devices?

Accepted Answer

Calmendar runs on a single device today, with manual backup and restore between them. Automatic multi-device sync is not available yet.
