Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Calmendar iPhone app (the "App"), provided by Saud Helayel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms.

2. Your content

You own the notes, tasks, reminders, recordings, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content"). The App stores Your Content primarily on your device. You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your device and any backups secure.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to violate any law or the rights of others.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App.
Do not use the App to submit content you do not have the right to use.

4. AI features

The App offers optional AI features. When you use them, certain text from Your Content may be sent to OpenAI for processing as described in our AI Processing Notice. You are responsible for not submitting content you do not want processed by a third-party AI service.

5. Subscriptions

Calmendar does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If subscriptions are introduced in the future, subscription terms — including price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation — will be presented inside the App before purchase and billed through your Apple ID per Apple's standard subscription rules.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of your use of the App.

8. Third-party services

The App may interact with services you choose, such as iCloud, Google Drive, your device calendar, and OpenAI. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate the App or any feature at any time, including for legal, security, or operational reasons.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new effective date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, unless a different law is mandatorily applicable to consumers in your jurisdiction.
